I was tasked with creating the entire aesthetic of theLab’s website. I started with the homepage, where I wanted to have the simplest design possible, while maintaining an interesting and eye-catching look.

With the aesthetic of the website being quite simple, I felt the interface would rely more on effective layout and typography. The about page is a great example of an interface that looks amazing in black and white.

I felt the navigation should be seamless and require little thought. The idea is for the menu to take up the entire screen, making it easy to navigate.
